My mom told me that when I was very little I went up to a skunk and tried to pet it because I also thought it was a cat. I got sprayed. I'm glad that I don't remember this.:o

I agree that they are cute, but why would anyone allow their children to go near them in the first place and chance having them get sprayed. :eek:

I dont think that Skunks can spray until they are older.

We used to have friends who had descented Skunks, and they were just like Cats.
