without looking back at all the many previous dogs of the day, does anyone have a sheep dog, the big,old English sheepdog?
I was wondering how they are as pets? what are they like, I could never have one in this smal house with these 3 cats, but have always thought they are cute, and just wondered.

This site has a lot of information on them. I don't know anyone who has one. When I was younger I met one named Beaver... They had him groomed like a Schnauser! He had the cutest eyebrows!

I knew one when I was younger that belonged to my dad's friend. I remember that he had HD already as a young boy. He was really sweet natured. Taking care of his coat was a real problem so they had him shaving all the time to prevent fleas and mats.

No, HD is this hop problem that large dogs can get. I think it's called Hip Dysplasy in English too.
The dog's name was Woggles.
