Every morning Doris is on the Porch waiting.
I am going to lure her in, and have her checked bu my Vet,she has horrible wounds behing her left ear.
Despite the Animal Control , I can not in all conscience let this Cat suffer.
Come what may she will be A Found Cat.

To heck with animal control anyway! If she needs vet care, they are not going to see she gets it are they? Lure her in and take care of her, give her the life she deserves to have at your wonderful hotel! God will bless you for looking after his creature in need!

You definitely are doing the right thing, Gary! MAYBE her wounds are just from a bad case of ear mites .... where she has been scratching repeatedly! I hope it's nothing more serious ... but I know she is in good hands with you!

Hugs,
Kim

I thought you may try and lure her in, as she seems to be quite keen on joining the hotel, bless her for waiting outside every morning. Hopefully you'll know how old she is and whether she's neutered if you take her to the vets...
is she very friendly? If she's friendly and she's been fixed at least somebody looked after her at some time in her life even if not now, but never mind, she has Gary now :D

She looks to be a mature Cat, maybe five or six.
And her wound is on the back of the ear probably from fighting.
If she has a Guardian, they do not deserve her.
She will go POOOF Too!

Doris is beautiful Gary. I pray that you will able to bring her to the vets to get checked out. Poor girl.

You go, Gary! How could Animal Control give you a hard time over helping an obviously injured kitty? The only option poor Doris has is to be on the loose and on her own. That's no option at all!
I'm sure you know you have many friends here on PT who will put in a positive word for you to anyone at any time. Keep us up to date on this, okay?
