Well, it has only been about a week since the Olney kittens were at the vet, but I am already noticing improvement in them. The ringworm is slowly clearing up and the coughing has slowed down a bit. The orangie momma is still hacking away quite a bit...but I'm sure she will be okay. I have to take them in again next week for a follow up. Hopefully they will recieve a clean bill of health so I can get them altered and up for adoption. They are all very sweet...some are a bit shy...but I am working on that.
As for lil' Miss Sunshine, I am so in love! She is the sweetest thing. She is doing well. She started sneezing on Tuesday and didn't eat all day...I got a little worried. But yesterday she was back to her self. I have been giving her Doxycycline once a day...just 0.1 ML since Tuesday...I want to make sure she does not end up with a serious cold! She gave me her first "Meo" today..normally it is a silent meow, but when I lifted the blanket off of her cage this morning, she meowed very loud. I gave her her breakfast and she jumped right into it! She is now eating crushed kitten food mixed with moist kitten food and a little kitten glop. She loves it. I still give her baby food as well, but I am sure she is fine with regular kitten food. I am so pleased with her progress! I could just cry...happy tears of course! I will keep you all updated.
