This poor pooch!

I got this in a Freecycle email today.

"Dinky Duke Flappywaggles (named by my 6-year old) is about 2 years old
and is just not getting the attention he needs here. I have AKC papers,
but I'll have to find them. He is a good dog and is good with children.
At one point, he was housebroken but has been kept outside for about a
year now (except for at night) and I don't think he remembers his potty
training. I think if someone had the time, they could re-train him.
He has not had his shots and is way, way, way overdue on them. He needs
them all.

We are looking for a good home, preferably with vet references.

Poor thing! What breed is he? He sounds like he would be a wonderful addition to any home.

He is a little Doxie man.

I sent her an email and this is her reply:

I've had several replies regarding Duke, but if they fall through, I will consider the rescue shelters.

I replied and told her that I can foster him, as well. :)
