Does your state (country) have only a rear license plate? Or BOTH front and rear?

We have rear ones only here in Arizona, but when i was in Utah they had both so its weird having it both. So i'd rather have it rear. Since i'm used to it.

In Alberta, you're required to have one (on the rear) and if you want two, then it's up to you. Personally, I think it should be law everywhere to have one on the front and the back..

Both ends in CA - they want to be able to catch your license plate in the cameras when you run a red light ;)

me too, not sure .. many, many people warned me about having one license plate (rear) but had rear one for about three years and never got stopped for that.

Rear only here. I have a novelty plate on the front. I've learned to take it off when I cross the border. It seriously confuses the US Customs guards! (It's a Calgary Stampeders plate--a white running horse, but they think it's a real plate every time and always ask why I have two different plates on my truck!)

Glacier, do Yukon licsense plates have a graphic of a miner panning for gold?

Both!!! We get the official one by mail: for the rear side of the car. We then have to have another one made for the front side :)

Both. I always wondered why some places only have rear. If someone's gonna hits you, you usually don't see the back of the car untill it's too late. :p

There are some kind of hologram on licence plates to show they are authentic. It reflects w/ light, apparently. (Helps distiguish from fraudulent plates.)

Both here!
I had a Camaro a few years back and the front end looked too cool to put a license plate on it. So I didn't! :o 4 years later I got a ticket for it. $60!
Ouch! PLUS.... I couldn't find the other plate, so I had to buy another set! $60. Double Ouch!
Yeah, I kept a plate on the front after that! :o
