Before and After - Hair Color

Ok, so thanks to everyone for giving me ideas!! I told the lady to just surprise me, and THAT SHE DID!! At first I just ment surprise me with the color, but then she took the sissors and chopped all my hair off...so it's a lot shorter than I would have wanted, but it looks OK. She put blonde highlights in the top, and then dyed the bottom a darker color. Here are the before and after pics.

I love it!!! You look great with it, I love the second after picture your so pretty! :D The lenth of your hair is also nice, the blonde highlight bring out your face too. It a great hair cut, and hair highlights!!!! :eek:

When you said she chopped it all off, I admit you had me a bit scared. :p But I can't tell too much of a difference and besides... it looks great! Props to the hair stylist lady, the color is wonderful. Awesome new do, Beth. :D

and after.. I really regret cutting it. I was trying to grow it again. It looks a lot better in person. Its one of those bed head styles.

Beth, It looks very good! I know what you mean about how it feels short. I keep mine long too. But you'll be used to it before you know it. Plus the ends are healthier now. :D :D

Thank you so much everybody!! Yes, the ends are so much healthier now, that is a bonus about it getting cut. She (the hairstylist) introduced me to this WONDERFUL conditioner, it's called Bain de Terre - Cucumber. It is amazing, Amy said its the best conditioner she's found in 22 years! :eek:

Hmm, maybe if you smiled at your camera, it would like you better? There's a Shawn Mullins song that contained this phrase "and all her friends tell her
she's so pretty/but she'd be a whole lot prettier/if she smiled once in a while" and I thought of it when I saw your pictures! :)

I love the highligts, if I had time to keep up with my hair I'd do that too. It looks great and it's not too short.
