I haven't had much time to use my camera lately but these pics were from my last trip to the cottage. Feel free to post your own sky/storm pictures as well. :)

awesome!!
This one scared me, looked like a start of a tornado, but it was just a hole in the clouds.

This was a storm from one of the smaller hurricanes. We didn't get any rain from it, just clouds.

:o When I first saw the title of this post, I thought it was going to be pictures of KAK's cats! LOL LOL

Cool pictures! Oddly enough, I really miss storms. We don't get hardly anything out here in CA...except a bit of rain during rainy season, but that's about it!

**hugs**

How would I have pics of KAK's cats?! Unless I took the trip to California and for sure I'd be visiting everyone else including you in that case! Or I smuggled Sky and Storm to my place but I don't think KAK or Nakita would be too thrilled at that prospect. :)

For storms, be careful what you wish for. Toronto has had some crazy weather the last two summers. At the beginning of August we had 8 tornadoes that touched down in Ontario and cottage country was hit pretty hard.Scary stuff!

Good point. Your'e more than welcome to come visit us in CA anytime! ;)

I only looked at the subject, and not who posted when I clicked on it. :o
Tornados are totally scary. I'm originally from the mid-west, so it was just odd to me when I moved to CA to find that CA has no weather, which is why I miss t-storms sometimes. I totally agree on the tornados though...I was always scared when there were tornados touching down and everyone had tornado warnings flashing up on the TV.

I love your photography by the way! :) It's so vivid, and I especially love Nakita! Kiss her for me:D

I was thinking the same thing about KAK's kitties. ;)

From the back porch of the house we can see the storms coming and also some that are out in the distance that look like they are heading towards us but end up skirting us.

Here are some of my Sky/Storm pictures.

The end of a thunderstorm

Thunderstorm just in front of the house.

T-boomer in the distance...if you look closely you can see the lightening in the photo (left section).

A barely visible rainbow (between the trees). It was so humid that as soon as I came out the door the lens fogged up.
