I went for a drive through the park the other day. early in the morning. there was what looked to be about a dozen wild turkeys on the side of the road. i got a couple pics of a few running into the woods.

Fascinating to see, I agree.

I'm glad you had your camera handy and got a few good shots. The turkey hens, having a nice visit , early in the morning!!! :D
Wait a minute, do I see a few Toms? Way off to the right?

They seem to know you are there, looking back at you too!!! :D

I love nature as well.

Great Sharing, with those early morning pictures.

That's neat!! I rarely see the females, I almost always see the males for some reason. You got a nice group shot, though!

I see wild turkeys almost everyday in one or more of the many fields I pass on my way to work & back. I've always been fascinated with them for some reason.

There are a lot of wild turkeys in the area where I live. Especially on the golf course where I work. Every morning I see thm running around there and when I show up, they all scatter into the woods.
