I've been gone for a week, visiting my family. My sister and I took her family to the Calgary zoo and Calaway Park. Then drove back to Saskatchewan for a few more days with my parents. Here's a few pics:

A beautiful female tiger at the zoo. They've done a ton of work there since last time I was at the zoo. The animals have much more room and very nice enclosures.

Antonio the Lemur. The two lemurs have free reign of the African Rainforest exhibit. He was just a few inches away from us.

Getting soaked on the log ride at Calaway Park. It was not warm enough for that silliness!

My nieces hanging out in the hotel in Calgary.

Their new kitten, Squeakers. She's 8 weeks old and too cute!

My sister's boyfriend just moved in bringin along his black lab, D'Mon. D is obsessed with his Kong and will even go on the trampoline in search of someone to throw it!

Our old family cat, Mystic. He's 17 and still going strong.

My new favorite picture of my niece, Emma. She's 3 and a half and a handful already! My Dad has a classic car, a 58 something(name escapes me right now!). My Mom bought it as her first car, then my grandma drove it and now my Dad has restored it. The girls love going for rides in the "cool car". Emma was very excited!

Now I need a few days off to recover from my "holiday" before I go back to work!

Welcome back, Tamara! Beautiful animals... Your nieces are too cute!!!! Squeakers is a sweet lil kitty - we had a little orange tabby named Tiger that we ended up calling Squeaker because he squeaked instead of meowed! Mystic - lovely ol' gal, beautiful name! and D'Mon is one special pup to get up there on the trampoline - you wouldn't catch mine up there! :D

Oh my goodness, you were HERE? That's so cool. I'm sure you were welcomed home by all the puppers and kitties. Now, how about those 2 doggies at the shelter?

OMG, I was melting over Squeakers, then rolling on the floor over the poor Kong obsessed pup!

Great photos (as usual!)

Wow, you take amazing pictures. The zoo animals are beautiful. The kitten is adorable. Your family cat looks amazing for 17.

The lab is too funny with his kong. I know a lot of labs that like to carry things in their mouths, must be a lab thing. ;)

Your nieces are beautiful. I bet they are lots of fun. :D

That pic of the tiger is awsome, Tamara!! Where you really that close to it, or did you use a strong lens?
