Yorkster just posted this link which references (among other things) California Senate Bill SB 1373 (http://www.cfainc.org/news.html) . I wasn't previously aware of this and really haven't gone into it in depth, but it seems to increase the cost of catteries and dog breeders in the state without effectively meeting it's aim: reduction of unwanted cats and dogs. (At this point the goal they're working towards seems laudible, but the approach seems backward and costly. [How typical :rolleyes:] :( :eek: ) I'm posting this in case you also wish to research this bill and contact your respective state senator.
