With the all the worrying about Luna lately, I totally forgot to post about Lily (in fact, I even forgot her Gotcha Day last week! :o).

But Lily and I just had a playing session in the kitchen, where she tried to catch a catnip toy. I stuffed it into a hole of my kitchen chair, and she would grab it from there (or from my hand while I held it, like in the first two pictures):

She was playing so hard that she almost had an accident! She slipped and fell with one of her hind legs between the bars of the chair - I thought she would break her leg, and she screamed while she fell... :( All this went so fast that there wasn't enough time to come to her aid. But it turned out she was fine after she landed. Lucky girl!!

Its great as always Kirsten

to see Lily, as she is one of the most precious Cats on Pet Talk.

I never realized she has ear tufts at the tops of her ears before. How SWEET!

Go catch that evil catnip mousie Lily! Pouncer says he wishes he was there to help you.

I'm sure Lily has forgiven you for forgetting her gotcha day. She certainly looks as if she has, after that great game. :D

So if I understand well, you had the toy in one hand while you took pics with the other hand? I sometimes try to do this with Jasmine, but she moves too fast, I can't focus, or zoom, and I never end up with pics like that! I have to train more...

Thanks! :) Yes, I really hope she forgave me that Gotcha Day thing and had fun with the playing session! :)

@Sonia: Yes, that's exactly the way it works! :) (But often, I just have a photo without a cat in it, because they are too quick! Good that we have digicams! LOL)

@Kim: Oh yes, Lily always had these little tufts, and I'm glad this did not grow out as an adult. Lily hopes that Pouncer finds them cute... :o

Would you look at those eyes? She is just beautiful! Sounds like she has forgiven you, and that she had a great time with the catnip mouse! ;)
