I'm not sure how many avid readers we have out there, but I thought it might be nice to start a thread where you can post about your favorite books. Other PTers can ask questions of you and decide if it might be something they wanted to read. Or maybe you can post and ask if anybody has read a book you think you might be interested in. The latter is my reason for starting this thread and I was wondering....

Has anybody here read "My Sister's Keeper" by Jodi Picoult (http://www.jodipicoult.com/my-sisters-keeper.html#cover) and, if so, what are your thoughts? Would you recomend it?

Some Books I Would Recommend

"Danger in the Shadows" (prequel to The O'malley series) by Dee Henderson (http://www.deehenderson.com/)
The O'Malley Series (6 books, not counting the prequel) by Dee Henderson
"One Tuesday Morning" by Karen Kingsbury (http://www.karenkingsbury.com/)
"Beyond Tuesday Morning" by Karen Kingsbury
"Oceans Apart" by Karen Kingsbury
The Seaside Seasons series by Gayle Roper (http://www.gayleroper.com/books2.htm)

I'm sure I'll find many more to follow, but I'll leave you with these for now. ;)

I'm usually into fantasy fiction books. :)

My favorites would have to be the classic Chronicles of Narnia series.:) Yes I know, they supposed to be for like 10 year olds, but I think they're good for all ages.:)

And I'm currently reading Eragon. :) It's a very good book so far, just VERY detailed!

Anyone know of any good fantasy books around my reading level? (I'm in 8th grade) :)

I just finished reading Ella in Europe about a man who takes his dog to Europe (where dogs can go into most museums & restaurants). He has the time of his life just spending it with his best friend. It was a great summer read.

Now I'm trying (desperately) to get through The Third Secret. Boring! But I want to see how it ends. The author wrote an awesome book called The Romanov Prophecy. That was good - this one stinks.

Not really sure what my favorite book is these days. I loved Watership Down.

I've just started reading the John Grisham books and I would reccomend them to anyone who loves a good "legal thriller" (as my mom puts it). So far I've read The Partner , The Pelican Brief, and I'm finishing The Firm (which might be my favorite so far!) I read about 3 pages of The Street Lawyer last night at a book store and I was hooked instantly. I decided against buying it only because I still have to finish my summer reading.
