Well, my dad emailed me new pictures so I posted them on TFF and everyone there thinks Fusion died and my dad tricked me. Here is the topic (http://longfellow.zoto.com/img/original/95b164ff13536ff399ff7860d4941dda.jpg)

Unless he was marbled before, I've never heard of/seen such a change in color, even in stressed fish! :/

I'm conviced it's a different fish. It might be the angle and size of the pic but his dorsal fin is competely different in the before and after pics.

If it was just a drastic color change, you'd still be able to see the red wash in the before pic as well. As far as I know, red wash never goes away.. even in stressed out fish it should still show up. Also, if he was stressed out before, his normal color wouldn't lighten up (when returning back to his normal color), it'd get darker and more vibrant if anything.

I'll have to call him and ask him. I'm going to be SO mad at him if he lied. How do you explain the eyes?

Could just be coincidence, alot of bettas half half blue, half other colored eyes. Whatever happened, they're both pretty. :)

Normally the colour change goes from white to another colour, not reverse. But I've seen big changes. This fish has the same red spots in his beard fins.
