A request for pictures, RB dogs

I have been thinking lately, about a little project I'd like to do. I don't have any seriously fancy video making software but what I have is fairly decent and I have really discovered that I just love making video/slideshow compilations. So what I'm asking for is for anyone who is interested to post pictures of their Rainbow Bridge dogs here that I could make a compilation of to music. I have no idea whether the response I get will be too few to really get anything, or so many that I'd never get it all into one, but I thought I'd give it a shot. I am just asking anyone who wouldn't mind their RB dogs to be in this to post a picture or two in this thread (thereby I am assuming I'd have permission to use it for this :D). I will post the link to the video when it's done!

Great idea. I'm trying to think if I want Layla in here, they were both surrendered in 2000 at a year old, I have no clue where they are now. Chances are Clark is alive and well with a good family, but chances are pretty slim Layla made it out of the shelter alive.

This is(or was) my sweet sweet Bronx...we rescued him on Thanksgiving 05' and he crossed the RB on March 17, 2006....poor baby was only 6 months old when we found he had a congenital kidney disease that not only effected 3% of pups worldwide, but it was going to hit hard and fast. He got sick around 7 months of age and in a week deteriorated to nothing and was pts to end his suffering. It was the hardest decision I have ever had to make; I try to take comfort in knowing he is safe and healthy and running free but I don't think I will ever get over my loss....

This is so sweet of you to do. I don't have many pics of Kammisar. I was a cat person back then. Plus, didn't start liking photography until later in life. I didn't realise how special a dog he was until Duke. So, here's a pic of us together. I'll try to find one of just him. I still cry when I think about him.

The first pic is of Sandy, I'd had him since he was 6 months old, he passed away just shy of his 16th birthday. The second may be to fuzzy to be useful, but has Sandy(RB), Daphne (RB) and Avalon (RB).

I think this is a great idea, thank you for doing it.

My first dachshund Amy, I'm not sure of the year she left me but it was when I was younger, but not extrememly young, I think I was over 10 but not quite teens, I wish I had kept up with dates and took more pictures when I was younger. :(

I lightened the picture up a lot because it was way too dark so the colors aren't quite her but you can at least see her. My dad got her for me when I was a little girl. I loved her to death! I still miss her a lot. The ground was all yucky then, holes from little digging doggies everywhere, I remember how the dogs loved to tear up dad's paper plates, haha.

and though he wasn't mine, my dad's dog Bubba, I had to make the hardest decision of my life to put him down that day, July 13th. I still feel so bad, I miss him a lot even though he wasn't really mine, he was a wonderful dog, just plain sweet and so good. Handsome too, my daddy loved this dog. I grew up with him through my teens, he was the grand-dog of Amy. He was in the car accident with my dad and broke his back. It hurts so much to think about him and my daddy still. :(

What a lovely name, Gretchen! :) I know your dad must miss her terribly still. My dad always took it really hard when one of his dogs passed away or ran away, he always let them have free roam and we all know what happens with males who aren't neutered, they go roaming around, along with the girls too and some don't come home :( :( He loved them though, it's just how he did things and how he felt things should be done. Anywho, thanks, Amy was a cutie pie that's for sure, I have a few more pictures I should try and scan in. :) My scanner isn't that great though, makes the pictures quite grainy.

Sue I'm glad you posted that picture.

As of this post I can't add any more, so Sudilar's was the cutoff point (and will be added), otherwise if I start getting too many more requests for additions the slides will end up going by too fast in order to fit them all in. However I do hope to do a similar project another time, so if you didn't get in this one and wanted to, feel free to PM me pictures I can save to my computer so when the time comes to make another I will already have some on hand to use!
