I rarely post pictures of my fosters so I thought I'd share. I just got these ones today. Drove all the way to Beaverdell for them. Two are 10 weeks old, Four are 7 weeks. Then there is the momma cat. All flame points.

Their heads are all a little deformed (inbreeding) but they are so ugly they're cute lol. Three of them already have homes.

The momma is friendly, but seems depressed. She spent the entire day in that cage until I took her out. I thought maybe she would want to sit quietly beside me but she opted for the closet instead and she is in there now. Theb babies are all shy, they never come to you, but they won't fight if you pick them up. They are off to the vet's tomorrow for shots and meds for their eyes, and mom is getting spayed. Then mom unfortunatly has to go back to the hoarder, and another girl (one that I have taken before to get healthy) is coming back down for a spay. I do have some other people interested in the kittens so hopefully they will all have homes soon.

They are precious! Do you know if they can hear?? Usually, white cats with blue eyes are deaf.

They are cute. I didn't really think about their heads being deformed, how sad.

Did you say the mom is going back to the hoarder?

They sure are cutie pies. I love flamepoints and my Starr is one.:) Why does the mother cat have to go back to the hoarder? I would think that she would be better off finding another home.

Thanks for the replies everyone, they are so adorable, aren't they? Right now they are inhabiting my kitchen. I came in this morning and they were all huddled into one of the crates on the table. :)

They are flame points, not pure white --- the amount of pigment is good enough that they can hear. I don't think I've heard of a deaf pointed cat, but I'm sure it's possible.

Unfortunatly the momma has to go back. Because we've altered so many of them, and the forest fires are pushing the wild animals (bears, coyotes) down towards her, she is down to three adult cats (a huge improvement from 200+), so she doesn't want us to give away this one. We have to compromise if we want to keep contact and make sure the situation is still okay. We did find out that she is wanting more kittens though, and we have to search her place thoroughly when we go up there because we think she may be hiding some. The next trip up we are getting Softie, a cat that should NOT be having kittens as she has kidney problems and has to be on a special food her entire life. She almost died a couple of years ago.

The momma kitty is doing a bit better now. She doesn't shy away when I go to pick her up, it's like she doesn't care anymore. I put her back in the kitchen with the babies. I actually woke up early this morning and felt a little body next to mine, and it was the little manx boy. They don't like to be touched, but they aren't afraid of me.

At their ages, the kittens will come around to your affection.

Good Luck.

Momma is at the vet's being spayed! Kittens got medication for their eyes and their shots. They are all tuckered out. One of the kittens actually loves to be pet now, but if you pet her for too long, she bites you! LOL. :p

What little cutie patooties.... kittens and Mama! Sounds like everyone is coming around! Hope they all find wonderful furever homes and that Mama is well taken care of by her owner. Great that you keep a close eye on the situation at that home!
