We have new camera batteries, and I finally have long enough to sit down and post pictures. Here are the kittens that were abandoned at our church:

All Five

We have given them temporary names so that we don't have to keep calling them "the black one" or the "tabby with the white spot on his nose."

Here is Rorie. This is actually the name she will keep, as she is going to live with my sister in the big city in Atlanta.

Here is Rorie's catitude shot. She is actually a little cuddle-bug with a purr that is much bigger than she is.

We call this little girl Mini-Me because she looks JUST like a miniature Saphirah. She's not a diva like Saphirah, though. This little girl may go and live with my in-laws.

Here is Houdini, the all tabby boy. He is very good at escaping from the bathroom and making a bee-line for the big cats' food. He is actually fairly shy, but is coming out of his shell some.

This is Mater. He is a friendly little guy, the most outgoing of the bunch. He got his name from the character in "Cars" because I had to pull him out from under a couple of cars in the church parking lot at different times before we brought them here. Note that he is in a very nice kitten meatlof position on my leg.

Last is Blade, so named because of the number he did on my husband's hands when my husband was trying to put him in the cat carrier to bring him here. He is definitely the bossy one, but has his lap kitty moments, too.

Here is a funny shot, one of those that just didn't work out quite right:

Kitten Tortellini:

All stretched out:

That's all for now!

What beautiful babies! I must have missed your post about someone dumping them. Great to know that you already have probable homes for two of them. Have you asked Catnapper if she has room for the two stripey ones? :p

Oh THANK YOU for the cuteness warning, but I am melting as I type! They are all just so adorable! I love those ears on all of them! And the little white toesies on some... looks as if they dipped their feet in a paint bucket! :D

Thanks for sharing. I am glad that some of them have furever homes! I am sure that they will all be spoken for soon!

Upon further examination, it has been determined that "Mater" is actually a girl. Oops!

Thank you for the warning! ;) The first picture is beyond precious. Just look at them all lining up to be photographed! :D I am so glad that there are possible furever homes lined up for a couple of them. Whoever dropped them off probably knew that they would be in good hands, abeit temporarily. I will follow the kittens' progress and hope to see updates as the find loving homes. They are off to a good start, winding up with you. :)

The only good thing about those Kittens being abandoned was taht they were left in a place of sanctuary.
And where they would be found Furr Ever Homes.
We are praying for those Little Wonders.

They're just adorable, I'm sure you'll have no problem finding homes for these gorgeous babies. I am in love with Mater, and I'd definately have him if I could!

Actually, Mater could keep that name even if she is a girl. "Mater" is Latin for "mother."

What beautiful little babies! Finding them at your church just goes to prove that all the animals we share this planet with are very special gifts from God. How wonderful that a few already have furever homes. Do you plan to keep one?

Thanks, everyone. They are adorable, and we're having a ball with them. Unfortunately, none of them are staying permanently. We have a houseful already, and with the baby coming home in a couple of months, a kitten would just be too much.

We have found homes for three, and someone else is going to take the other two and find homes for them. Those two, Mater and Houdini, will be leaving us tomorrow. Next Saturday (the 5th), we will take Rorie and Blade to Atlanta. Blade is going to live with my sister's boss in a house with three other kitties. We will have Mini-Me with us until the 18th of August when we take her up to my in-laws. (Next week we're going to take her to our vet for her kitten shots, etc., so that we can let her out with our cats while she's here.)

At least we'll be able to stay in close contact with Rorie and Mini-Me. :)

All 5 kittens have homes. We delivered the last 3 to their out of town homes yesterday. We will be able to watch 2 of them (Rorie and Mini) grow up, as they both are living with extended family members. We may also hear from Blade occasionally, as he is now living with my sister's boss.
