Thanks Tia! Hmm...for that one I first taught him to bring me the can and I slowly put it closer and closer to the cooler until it was in it and the lid open, and eventually got to the point where I could close the lid and he'd get it. He picks up what I want him to do so quickly, so the whole thing took only a couple of minutes for him to get! :eek:

Heres another one - don't mind the messy garage :o At the end my dad tells him "feet up" because we were teaching him to close it by jumping up, but he grabbed the towel instead, lol. I think he was a wee bit confused, but we're still working on it ;) Oh, and Jack's reward for getting it was cleaning out my dad's dinner dish thingy :rolleyes:

All of these new tricks are based off of a simple retrieve (take it, hold it & bring it were probably the most useful things I've ever taught Jack!). Being a Grabador ( ;) ) he is more than willing to do those three things so it makes things like opening a fridge door and taking something natural for him *shrugs* I probably would never be able to teach Shadow (for example) these things because she isn't willing to take things that I want her to (I can't even get her to hold things yet!).

Wow :eek: those videos are great! Jack sure is a smart boy (and cute too :) ). Poor Micki, it looks like he is trying to get into the act in all of those videos too. :)
