I just posted two new photos in the Canon PowerShot S2-thread (http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=108264), showing a moon and a lily, and realized that they were perfect symbols for the girls (moon = Luna, and Lily ;)), and I thought it would be cool to make one photo of it which should work as a crest for Luna and Lily.

Unfortunately, I'm not very talented with digiart, so the result is simple:

What do you think? I thought about adding some text also, but don't want to destroy the harmony of the picture. Would have been nice to let the blossom covering the moon a bit, or even let it grow in front of it, but I don't know how to do it. Needed the black background for both objects.

On the other hand, they way it is now, it's truly symbolic. The moon (Luna) is distant and seeking solitude, while the lily (Lily) it turning its face towards the moon and needs its light to shine. This sort of describes the relationship Luna and Lily have.

Wow, I love it! It very beautiful.

I can't help with advice, my imagination is very bad for these kind of digiart composition. I can only take pictures of things that I see in front of me  Could you include Luna and Lily somewhere? On the other hand, as you say, it is symbolic like this...

I thought about it, but I don't think it would look good, unless you do something really artistic, like working with different layers. But I'm not good with these things either.

Thanks! :)

Wish I had the skills and talent for digiart though. There are so many impressive pieces of art on the net... :)

I am impressed and I think that you can tamper too much with things.
I think that you should leave it just as it is.
