We arrived in London 2 days before the European PT-meeting. On Monday, we decided we wanted to re-visit the beautiful Kew Gardens. We had been there nearly 25 years ago, so it was about time to go there again! Of course you all know why Bernard loves to go there: he can always use new ideas for our own garden, lol!
On to the pics now!

Those are beautiful. I just love the giant lilly pads.

But what's up with that butt? What exactly is it? :)

Wow! What beautiful flowers in those gardens. I could have spent all day there myself.

I went and looked at the pictures of your PT meeting and I can tell what a great time everyone had. Looks like all of you had a blast!!

It is not a butt, lol. It is some kind of nut and its shell, rather rare. Anybody here who knows the real name??

It's a wonderful place, and I'm surprised you were able to tear Bernard away from it for the Pet Talk gathering!

It looks wonderful there! Although I've been to England countless times, I've never been to see Kew Gardens. :o I have to next time!

Your photos are absolutely beautiful, what a variaty of flowers. I bet Bernard got some inspiration. :)

Kew Gardens are really worth a visit! You can get there by tube (District line).

Oh yes, Bernard got plenty new ideas! Guess where he spend his time after we got home, and during last weekend???
Yup yup, in the garden and at the gardencenter :p

I'm glad you two were able to make it to London and where there long enough to have a nice little vacation! The gardens are beautiful, maybe the next time I go to London I will make a trip out there. Tell Bernard I said happy birthday!

Happy 50th, Bernard! Have a great day!

Dark chocolade sounds like just the right thing! ;) Hope the weather allows you to spend some time in your lovely garden! :)

PS. I got a new green plant ... well a bit from another, don't know the name, but I heard you just cut off a branch, let it dry out a bit and put it in soil - we'll see!

Will post a picture one of these days.

Oh, Kew Gardens was one of the first things on my list last year. I loved it! I especially loved the water lillies :)

Happy Birthday, Bernard!
