Does anybody know anything about that missing show dog? I think (s)he's a German Shepherd. A champion, I've heard but cannot be sure.

i remeber that! i think it was an Italian Greyhound or a Whippet. i'm not sure if they found her or not.

It was a Whippet and she was found a few months or so after she was lost. :)

Do you have a link to any stories about this? It's been followed pretty closely on an email list I'm on and the last post was July 4 that Vivi had been spotted in Queens, but not captured yet.

I did see a story a while back on another forum, but I just did a search and now I'm wondering if it was a hoax. This (http://www.awc2006.com/index.php?page=vivi) website says she's still lost as of July 4 (like you said) but I saw the story two or so months ago.

When did this happen?They must be after these kind of dogs there was a whippet stolen last year also from the W.D.S

Vivi escaped from her crate at JFK airport in mid-February. She's been on the run ever since, but apparently is sighted quite regularly. They just can't catch her.
