As some of you may or may not know, Riley and I had a fun match this past Sunday. It was the first time I entered her in novice, the other fun matches she had been entered in prenovice. Her first run was standered and she did good, but not well enough to beat out the other more experienced dogs and place. I'm not complaining though, I thought she did awesome, though she was a bit over excited. Her second run was jumpers with weaves, and she did Great! Calmed down just a bit between runs and managed to beat some of the more experieced dogs and place 3rd out of 16 in her height class. I couldn't be more proud! Boy, agility sure is addicting! I'm already looking for more to enter her in! :D

There were a few border collies there, but I didn't get many pictures as they all ran either right before Riley and I... or right after. I did get plenty of pictures of other breeds though, as well as my instructors goldens. [He came to run for fun, though didn't count as he would've blown everyone away with his dog Dixie.]

Now onto the pictures! I had my mom take some of Riley and I, only a few came out that I liked... so thats why there aren't very many.

WOW! I didn't know that all of those dog breeds (in the pics) could all excel at agility! :o
And no, you are very pretty! :)
My new girl, Rita, loves to run and jump, I'm sure she'd do great at agility, or maybe even flyball! I should look into it!
Great pictures, I really enjoyed them! ;)

It sounds like Riley is doing great! All of the pictures are awesome, especially the 2nd one of her jumping. Gonzo loves jumpers, too :p

What height class is she in? It looks like 22", which is pretty hard.

Great pics. Looks like everyone had lots of fun.

We were looking into an agility class for Teddy but now that he hurt his foot that is off the agenda for the next month or so. Can't wait until we can get started though. Looks like fun.

All the pictures are amazing. Agility looks like so much fun. What a wonderful way to interact with your dogs. How long did it take you to teach your dogs to do all that?

Thanks!
I've been training with Riley since she was about 7 months old ;getting used to the obstacles, working on contacts and just basically doing ground work. She is now a bit over 2 years old so we've been training for about a year and a half. [Spring, Summer and Fall... we don't do anything during the winter as the club we train at doesn't have a place we can practice indoor]

Thanks for the comments, everyone! :)
