The other day, Peggy almost gave my mother a heart attack! She forgot to close the window of the attic room (1st floor), and when she went out with the dogs and passed her house, she saw Peggy sitting there in the open window.

To make things worse, Peggy decided to join them on that walk, and jumped out of the window!! Right below, there's a concrete path, then there's a fence, and she jumped right over the fence and landed on the lawn. My mother said it looked as if Peggy was flying! Obviously she didn't hurt herself, she joined the walk as if it was the most normal thing in the world to take such a dangerous shortcut.

And here are some new pics I took of her today. I played with her and she was happy: :)

Oh my gosh, that would have given me heart failure.

Silly Peggy, you shouldn't try such a feat. And without an umbrella, tsk, tsk!

Glad she is okay.

SuperGirl! Peggy, please don't do that again; you'll give Aunt Kirsten heart failure!

Well they do say cats always land on their feet!! Good job too
Apparently there is a certain height which is the only one that they don't land on their feet, though I can't remember how high is!
Once they're past a certain height, they're safe apprently and won't hurt themselves because of the elasticity of their muscles and the way their bone structure works.
Thank goodness their bodies are so adaptable!!

I would have been so worried as that is a rather short distance for a Cat, especially if they are not experience at jumping.
But Peggy proved that she knew what she was doing.
Whats the matter, Aunt Kirsten, Im Super Peggy.
Leaping from bedroom windows in a single bound?
