Waking up from a late morning vacation nap with your toes stuck into a pile of warm cat. :D

Oh, yes, that's happiness! This morning, after being gone on vacation for 8 days, I woke up with Abby on my chest...her face snuggled under my right ear, her left back paw under my left ear and her right back paw sticking in my ear! :D

And she was purring! :D

Happy vacation, Richard. :)

Happiness is being surrouned by purrs.
Or getting up in the morning to see piles of Cats in the sun room, all peaceful and serene, the Kitten Trio with the Older Cats, all enjoying each others company.
Thats Nirvana to me.

Awwwwww! That is major happiness when you have been away from your babies to long.

I'd have to agree - I love waking up to quiet mornings with just kitty purrs!

I would love to wake up surronded by a pile of purrs in the morning. My two and foster are still kittens so it shall be a while before they mellow. :P

You create a peaceful mental picture Richard. :) Of course happiness is being ABLE to take a late morning vacation nap! ;) The cat is the icing on the cake. ;)

Unhappiness is, waking up at 2:00 AM, hearing a crash downstairs and hoping and praying it is ONLY a cat and not a burglar. :p

A drink of cool water and a nap on a tile floor? ;)

Annoyance is: waking up at 2:00 AM, hearing a crash and KNOWING it is only a cat! Oh boy do I know this one!

Oh, no gravity in your house to blame? ;)

Happiness is

The swing in mood when you get at the door of your home (after a crappy day) knowing that you have a friend on the other side.

Upon waking up in the morning having your cat follow you into the bathroom with meows and then giving you a quick lick on each ankle. :D

The weather cooling off enough for you to get a 'lap nap' from the cat. :D

waking up in the middle of the night with one sock on.....and then remembering that you fell asleep with no socks on....

then you realize that the sock you have on is made of cat. :D

happiness is coming home to to someone who has slept all day long and has no opinion on current events...

"Ed, what's going on?"

"MEOW"

Sometimes being on 'top of the food chain' really sucks.

I wish I had the "ignorance is bliss" that the Edster has! :D

Me, too, Richard. Some days I long for the simplicity of their lives. Sleep, eat, get petted, sleep, eat, watch the birds, chase a mouse, sleep, eat, sleep, etc.
