Wow!!

My mom and I got home from lunch, and my dad pulled into the driveway about the same time we did. He steps out of the car and tells me he has a present for me, then hands me a brand new canon digital camera! :eek:

He had originally gone out to buy new memory cards for my lame sony so I could take a ton of pictures during my Europe trip in July. My dad saw the camera on sale and decided to buy it! I'm super excited. And you know what this means.. once it's finished charging, I'm going to test it out and take lots of pictures! :D

It's not one of the cameras with like, 10x zoom or anything, but it's MUCH, MUCH better than the one I had. It's a canon powershot SD600 Digital Elph.

Congrats! What a great surprise! I know you must have been thrilled. I think that is a great little camera too. I've had my eye on that one. I am wanting it to carry around on me all the time. Have fun with it!
