I applied at this place called North Airline Animal Hospital a few months ago, right. Well, I woke up to being called by one of the vets from there. He asked if I was still interested in a job and whatnot. Of course I said yes. I forgot what else was said before he told me the details.
So, I have to be there some time between two pm and five pm so we could chat and whatnot. Hooray! I hope I get the job! :D
Updated: Well, I went in. I sat there for a while with my mother in law in the waiting area. After a few minutes, a big ol' harlequin Great Dane came out! He was sooo pretty. He is mostly white and had no pigment around his eyes or ears but did have little random splotches. I felt so uninformed when I asked her what they called his colour. :o
After a few more minutes, I was escorted back there. We sat and talked and he informed me of what the job duties entailed (bathing, cleaning, walking, etc.). He also asked if I had any limitations about big dogs because most of his clients are over 100 lbs (some 100 lb Labs, that Dane was 135, some Pyrenees that are 140 + ). I said no. We chatted for a few minutes about dogs and blah blah blah. It looks really positive (and it sounds like there are few other people who are being interviewed) for me. I should know something by Wednesday! :D
