What is the price of gasoline in your area of the country or world? In Pittsburgh the average price is $2.73 a gallon. The station where I get my gas is $2.71 a gallon.

Well, it varies in Connecticut. In the area where I live it's $2.99 to $3.09 a gallon. Farther North of where I live, it's $2.97/gallon.

What???? Cheaper in San Fran than in SoCal????? We were all excited on the weekend to find gas for $3.18... regular, self-serve unleaded. $3.25 is the most common price I see.

Gas is about $1.13 per litre at the moment. Let's see... 4.55 litres=1 gallon. So 4.55x1.13=$5.14 Canadian which is $4.57 USD per gallon. You guys have it good!

Not too long ago it was at $1.21/L=$4.90US/Gallon.

$2.97 -$2.95 per gallon for regular - I always fill up on "8 cents off Mondays" so paid $2.89 then (only the $2.97 station participate, all along one stretch of road.)

Just payed $3.13 here in North County, San Diego. There's a place a bit further away that had $3.09, but the crowd of cars was insane there.

I lucked out today and found a station with $2.66 a gallon so I filled up. About two hours later I went by and they had gone up to $2.70. Most places around here are $2.70-$2.75

In Britain the petrol (was we call it) currently stands at about 97p a litre (which is probably about $1.76ish is that right?)
It's gone up to about 99p a litre recently, but if it went any higher I think there would be protests and strike like there was about 6 years ago when the lorry drivers refused to drive the petrol to stations as they were being boycotted by protesters.

1 gallon [US, liquid] = 3.785 411 8 liter I just got that from a conversion chart online.

3.79 x .98 = $3.71

Hmmmm...not as bad as the other formula! :D The other formula works out to $4.46 per gallon! Hey, saved almost a dollar per gallon INSTANTLY! Cool! :)

In my little town, a local gas station sits at .98 per litre.

My little Corolla gets 47 MPG highway, and has been doing 43 - 44 the rest of the time.

I would be totally game to car pool...maybe I can now that I have only one job to go to.

It's $3.10 here. I don't recall it ever going over $3 before. It's hovered at $2.99... but never gone over until now.

I think a big chuck of our Honeymoon spending money is going to be on gas alone. :(

Gosh I don't even know what it is, I hardly ever buy gas. :o Since I walk to work Eric mainly puts in the gas in our car. I think the cheap stuff is around $2.80 though, or it was a few days ago. I'm almost glad that my car was junked last year- I'd like to have my own car, but I'm thinking instead of investing in a good bike. It's free to run and I'll get some exercise.
