See my other thread for the story of how they ended up here! http://petoftheday.com/talk/showthread.php?t=107790
No calls on them yet tonight. They are making themselves right at home in Pacer's pen. Pacer is quite content on the couch!

It took a few tries and holding a treat over their heads, but they do know what "sit" means!

It took awhile to get more than a head shot of this little guy. He's a suck and just can't get enough attention!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v38/Glacier1998/Dogs%202006/strays/happy.jpg
"I'm cute, keep petting me!" He's a leaner and wacks with his paw when I stop petting him!
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v38/Glacier1998/Dogs%202006/strays/hasum.jpg
His buddy is more aloof, but still sweet and social. I think he's just more confident and self-assured.

Not sure how well it shows in this picture, but they had both squeezed into this dog house. They are definately a bonded pair. The black one is quite protective of the other. They ate dinner nicely together, just a couple feet apart.

It's been an exhausting day!

"got any more food lady?"
I love his eyes! Reminds me of my Hoodoo!

I'll let y'all know if their owner turns up!

TAMARA ~

Guess you didn't see this, huh??

... ah, maybe I"ll start new thread.

I have more pictures than I first thought!

Don't you DARE "start a new thread"!!

THIS One's doing just **phine**!!

That's ONE *bad habit* you've got ... starting a New Thread on the Same Subject ...

Doing that all the "old" thread gets lost in the shuffle ...

Once you START a thread, PLEASE "stick with it" ...
change or add to the Title if you must ...
but avoid (at all costs) starting a New Thread on an "old subject".

NOW ... ON with the Pictures!!

...

"New Threads in the middle of a single subject are a MAJOR Pain in the Butt ...

All the Neat Stuff folks posted on the Original Thread get lost and forgotten ...

New Readers either don't know the Whole Story or have to go back to another
thread to GET the Whole Story ...

PLEASE ... *** STICK WITH the ORIGINAL Thread *** !!! ---
It was doing just FINE and had a growing audience.

They are both gorgeous boys. Although it would be great to have them as permanent members of Pet Talk, I hope their owners contact you soon, they look like they are well loved dogs. Thank you for taking care of them and keeping them safe.

They are both beautiful and happy to be with someone who cares. I wish you luck with finding their owners; if not, perhaps it was meant to be!

In any event, you are wonderful to give them a safe haven and lots of love. They certainly deserve it - just look at those adorable faces.

Such nice looking boys. Keep them much longer and it will be too hard to let them go home, if their parents show up. They look very comfortable at your place, and who wouldn't be. Hugs to Pacer, on the couch, for letting the runaways use his space. Hugs to you for taking them in - you're amazing!!

These two are good looking dogs. Great pictures. Which one had the limp?
Oh, and thanks so much for linking these threads together. Sure makes it
a lot easier to keep up with your two handsome (visitors) ?. :)

Which one had the limp?

The gray guy has the limp. He has a injury to his left front paw--a small cut on the side and looks like his pad is damaged a bit. Doesn't seem to bother him too much, although the limp is obvious. He does forget all about when he thinks he might get some food!

They will be on their way home soon. Their owner called the radio station this morning and they passed on my cell #. She's coming out to pick them up when I am on my lunch break.

I just saw these threads, I've been busy! they're beautiful! I saw that their owner was going to be picking them up, I need to read the other thread to see if that's happened! What beauties, though, and, what a kind soul you are for taking care of them. Lucky dogs!

They're beautiful! I've been looking forward to these photos. I'm sure glad you found the owner, and so, so glad you took them in, they couldn't've been in a better place while their owner was 'gone'.
