I spent the last week at the cottage. Just wanted to share some pictures. :)

Meet Sam, the turtle. He/she was a regular visitor while I was there.

Morning view from my dock. The mist was almost all gone by the time I took this picture

Butterflies. They were flocking around the daisies in our field.

Beautiful photos. I had butterflies fluttering around the house a few weeks ago but I can not capture the beauty of them like you can.

What beautiful photos.

I want to move there. Is housing cheap there? Maybe we can be neighbors. :D I love Canada. When I go up to Pittsburg NH, we drive into Canada and see the rolling hills, the country side and all the farms. It's so beautiful.

Thanks for sharing the lovely photos.

Wow, do you have an eye for photography or what! I loved all of the pictures, but the one of the view from the dock just takes my break away! The reflection of the sky and clouds on the water is amazing! :)

:)

Real estate prices have been going crazy the last 5 years. Right now the average house price is $350K in the Greater Toronto Area. The average cottage is being sold for $150K-$250K....I don't know how people can afford a home and cottage! I'm lucky since my grandparents purchased the land back in the 1930's.

And for all the farms, they are being sold off since farmers can't make a decent living. Almost every farm on the way to my cottage has been sold or is in the process of being sold.

I'm no turtle expert so I didn't know the gender....so I figured the name Sam would do! ;)

Thanks everyone for your comments! :)

Bummer. I guess we won't be neighbors afterall. I will have to live my cottage experience through your beautiful pictures. :)
