I love how big hubby's hand are -- they're huge like big catcher's mitts. I wanted to do some photos that showed how small Cameron is compared to hubby's hands. I wish the photos were clearer (its rainy and miserable today so the lighting was awful) but I do like how they "feel"

I just took this of him tonight, he's 8 days old and I can already see how much he's grown :)

And here's one I took the other day, I am going to take weekly photos of him next to this duck to show how much he's grown. Right now the duck is monsterous compared to him! :p

Those are some really precious pictures, Kim :) Love seeing that tiny boy tucked into his grandpa's big safe hands.

I like your idea of taking the regular pictures next to the stuffed duck for comparison - great idea!

Awwwww! The ladies at my church used to tell me they remembered when my dad would carry me with my head in the crook of his elbow, and my feet didn't quite even reach to his hand - those pictures remind me of that!

Is Cameron's daddy helping out at all?

You might have to ask Ashley that one. He hasn't given anything money-wise towards medical (but the bill hasn't arrived yet) nor has he offered to buy formula or diapers. I still have not seen him give any gift of any sort for the baby, and his reason before was that he didn't know if it would be a boy or girl. Ok, its a week already, so what excuse do we have for not picking up a boy gift? I have to stop and remind myself to be nice for Ashley's sake. Its been HARD because things have happened the past week to make me really distrust his intentions and his staying power.

Ashley knows how I feel so I can post it here without feeling like I'm telling some secret to the world. :o

Sweet pictures Kim! I agree with Debbie. The comparison pictures next to the duck will be fun to see as he grows and grows and grows! :) On a poodle board that I visit one of the girls placed her puppy next to a wine bottle and took pictures as she grew. It was fun to watch the progression. I guess Cameron won't want to lie next to that duckie when he is a teenager though! :p :p

I think I warned you about the Dad after the baby came. It just isn't HIS problem!

In Granpa's hands is the best place for him anyway!! Those pictures are to cute for words and he will outgrow that duck in no time... He is SO pretty!!!!

Kim,

He's probably still pissed that no one wished HIM a Happy Father's Day or bought him a Father's Day gift. Typical male. Why does it always have to be about THEM anyway?????

Cameron Nicholas is beautiful, Kim and Ashley!!! Congrats to you all and to hell with his poor excuse for a father.
