I want to go somewhere with hubby and possibly the dogs during the 4th of July long weekend. Any suggestions as to where we can go? Possibly in the southeastern part of the US.

You can come up here (north eastern) and hang out with us. ;) We rented a campsite at a VERY dog friendly campground for 5 days.

I'd love to and am tempted to come up there myself with the babies. Hubby is spoiled and doesn't like camping. Poo on him. :(

Have you ever been to Charleston SC? It's beautiful and lots to do. That's Southeast, kind of, sort of...isn't it?

No I have never been but I heard it is beautiful too.
I think It's only a 4 or 5 hour drive too.
