Fun with pictures, Tommy & Tasha!

I've actually gotten my camera out and taken some pictures the past couple days. Then spent hours playing around with them in photoshop. After all that I just had to share some of them! Some of them are altered with photoshop effects and others aren't other than borders etc. Anyway, I have a headache from staring at the program for so long so I'm just going to post them!

I've missed seeing your precious pups, Jess, and Daisy says that she's missed seeing her boyfriend. ;) You know how much I love that Tommy boy, and Tasha is looking just as lovely as usual.

I'm so jealous that you guys have been getting rain! It's been so hot over here (typical Cali summer weather :p), and the rain would feel soooo good this time of year!

Anyway, I think this one would have to be my favorite out of the whole bunch..

Thanks guys! :D And Julie so wonderful to see you, I sure miss seeing and hearing about your girls! Yes Tommy is always asking me about his sweetheart too ;). They'd look so cute together!

I was messing around a bit more with one. Color version first and then gray/green tinted. I kind of like the tinting on it for some reason :)

Anna, I did mess with those two! The first one is without flash so my shutter speed was too slow to capture the rain, so I "added" rain to make it look like it really was out there. The second one I used flash and all I got was a faded Tommy, and some rain droplets in the foreground that reflected the flash and looked huge. So I cloned out the glaring/reflective rain drops, did a color burn to make Tommy's color stand back out, and added the rain effect. I've never used that effect before but it fit those two because that is exactly what it looked like out there :D.

I also really like that oil pastel effect on that photo of Tommy's. The original was a tad overexposed I felt, but it ended up making the effect look perfect. I especially enjoy playing with effects on pictures that on their own don't look as nice due to overexposure or colors being off etc.

Thank you all so much for enjoying my babies.. I tell ya I truly don't know what I'd do without these two. Times are very difficult right now but they have a way of making me feel like we're going to be okay. They never fail to put a smile on my face and love in my heart. There is never any doubting their love or devotion.

Wow, Jess, I just love the oil pastel one that you did of Tommy. That is so cool. I think I would frame that one. Like Anna, I was also wondering if you played around with the first two pics with the rain. Very cool. Tommy and Tasha are looking great as usual and it is so good to see them.

What great pictures! Tommy is soooo handsome, and I always have thought that Tasha was particularly pretty girl. And she always looks so girly, too (I bet no one ever calls her a boy when you are walking her). I really like all of the pictures but I particularly like the ones of them on the bench. They are so cute together, they just make me think of a teenage brother and sister. :) It's good to see them again.

Thank you all again. Yeah Tasha really is a feminine girl, don't think she's ever been mistaken for a boy. She's so slim and dainty. When I got her doggie boots I had to get her a small size even though her height is medium. She's the height of a lab but so slender boned.

These babies are a brilliant light to my days that are dark right now.
