Charity On her way!! Update

Well It looks like we will be on our way soon to the hospital for my new granddaughters arrival. Of course camera is packed and as soon as possible I'll post .


She is here at 12:47 pm she arrived weighing 7LBS. 71/2 oz 201/2 inches of her. They broke her water at 8:45 and labor begain in earnest and very quickly we had our girl. Clarissa did awesome at keeping focused and on top of the contractions. I'm so proud of her she did a SUPER job. Both doing great I'm home for a nap then back to see her this evening. with out further ado . Meet Charity Jean

We had a great team going her hubby rubbing and pushing on her back, me in her face helping her breathe, my mom holding the monitor on (she found on her hands and knees the best postion) and my hubby (her dad) timing. poor brother had to wait outside at the end (daughters vanity) Nurses were impressed by the team effort and how we did it.
Thanks to all who prayed for us . We are so glad to have this one turn out ok after the miscarraige of our grandson 2 years ago. She was worried though out the whole thing.

Oh happy day for grandma Corinna :D What a weekend for babies here on PT - and yes Lori I am also wondering about Sara now.

The pictures are just lovely - so glad you were there and helping to welcome Charity. Can you tell us about the first time holding her? I bet it was not something you can really put in words. I have a little Boyd's Bear figure that my sister gave me - it says "When a child is born....so is a Grandma" it has grandma bear lifting baby bear - and I just LOVE that and it is how I know I felt :)

Congratulations!!!!!!! Charity Jean is very beautiful!! Looks like Clarissa done a fantastic job. Glad you were there with her. Have you got to hold her yet? What was that like for you? Charity sure is a cutie, I bet Clarissa is happy to have this over and done with, and get to hold that beautifull girl in her arms.
