Well, my month is over. It seemed to go by so quickly. I'm happy to be home with my babies, but I'm sad. I'll be going back every now and then. The calf should be due soon, so I'll be back to see the baby.

some last pics.

Back at the farm. I took Jethro (fjord) for a ride, and Judy rode April. Jethro spooked on me and scared me to death :o (I'm still recovering from a really bad fall and had given up on riding all together) But I walked him around a little after.

Yes, I was riding english in a western saddle :o

Judy took jethro back down the trail so he wouldn't be frightened of the path. She's brave lol. She rode April (17hh Belgian) bareback.....I wanted to get on her back but never got a chance too.

Kittens are coming outside now!

This was amazing. This chicken is a wyandot I think...and she is the only one of her breed on the farm. She started brooding 3 weeks ago and we didn't think they would hatch, however, they did! She must have mated with one of the silkies.

Wow, those are great pictures.I am glad you got to have that wonderful
experience of life on the farm. :) I could have loved to just watched the
kittens playing all day long. :D I don't know how much work would get done
because I'd just want to spend my time playing & watching all the critters.

Great pics!!! It is amazing that one month has passed already, AND that you are sad to be back. I seem to remember someone being anxious about going. :p

What does it mean, that you were riding western in an english saddle?

I know. Well, I'm happy to be back cause I miss my pets so much, but I will miss the farm. I enjoyed it, and learned a lot. Silly I was so anxious about it.

I was in a western saddle, but I had an english bridle. English and western are 2 totally different ridding styles. Like for example, you would "post" in english, but not western. I've always ridden english, but she only had a western saddle.

Haha, me too! I really like the grey kitten with the white face. She is sooo sweet and will just sit and snuggle with me <3 The other grey doesn't like to snuggle so much, but he sure is playful!

Aw, I can understand why your sad. That place looks like such a dream. I love the kittens, they are just to precious! :) Hopefully, you'll be able to go back and visit or maybe work the farm again.

You obviously had a wonderful and very memorable time and I'm happy that you shared it with us. Everything you have shown us depicts this as an amazing environment to experience. The animals appear to be exceptionally well cared for, just as a farm should be. Thanks for getting a wide variety of pictures. I'm especially glad that they included a couple pictures of YOU on your great adventure. May this be the first of many new and enriching experiences for you. You're on a roll now, girl.
