IMOM (http://www.imom.org/pin/gf/rosco-palmer.htm) is raising funds for this pupper who needs surgery to repair a ruptured disc. If you can help, know of other organizations who can help or have any encouraging words for his family, please post them on his thread on IMOM -- Rosco Palmer (http://p088.ezboard.com/fimomcommunityfrm19.showMessage?topicID=885.topic) . Thank you!
http://www.imom.org/pin/gf/roscoe_palmer.jpg From his family: Rosco is such a sweet and special dog. We got him at twelve weeks of age from an acquaintance who had been beating him. Any time we verbally scolded him to correct behaviors, he would cower. He needed a lot of love to feel safe again. He is now 3yrs. old and has been the best dog we have ever known. He loves to share the couch with us during TV time. He always wants to be in whatever room we're in. He's also very tolerant of little children. Going to the beach is Rosco's favorite activity. There he can run for miles, which he does all day. Now, due to his ruptured disk, he can barely stand or walk. He's already been in tremendous pain from this for over four weeks, but the steroidal anti-inflammatories help a bit. Any dog's face has the ability to render me helpless, but Rosco has the sweetest face that just makes me want to cry when he's not happy. He is such a joyful dog with many good years ahead of him once his surgery is done.
