Little Peggy was posing for me today when I was in my mother's garden.

This morning, she saw her vet for her shots, and according to Reinhold, she was a very good girl and didn't complain at all. Reinhold also mentioned her weight loss, but her vet thinks it's okay for an outdoor cat in the summer. She's really a skinny one atm.

Anyway, when I showed up, she immediately came to me and was very talkative, guess she had to tell me about her vet adventure. :)

She was also posing willingly today, so I was able to take a couple of pics. The last one shows her with my mother who's just bringing me a cup of coffee! :)

I Never Noticed This Before Kirsten, But If You Were To Take Away The Orange, Peggy Would Look Just Like Scrappy 2.
The Same Bright Eyes, The Same Smile, Everything.
They Are Both Such Sweet Little Girls, We Are Lucky To Have Them In Our Lives.

She is such a pretty cat - and not the least bit camera shy.

What a pretty calico she is!! I admire the quality of your pics! They are so sharp, the grass almost looks real, and I just couldn't resist to kiss dear Peggy...! Ahum, think I need to clean this screen here before anyone else uses the pc :D

Yep, she's sweet! :)

Gary, you're right, she has the same markings on her nose!

BTW, I wonder how Peggy and Dino will react to the new rottie pup that will arrive next weekend. Hopefully everything will work out fine!!

Oh Peggy! Kiss-Kiss-Kiss :D You are so cute! :)

I had an outdoor cat who used to be quite skinny in summer and got fatter as winter arrived, just like Peggy :)

The Good Thing Is That Pup Will Grow Up Around Peggy And Dino, And Grow To Regard Them As His Friends.
Just Have Your Mother Be Careful As The Pups Energy May Frighten The Cats.

She is totally adorable, Kirsten! I'm so glad to see you're having a nice time being off from work, and finding time to relax and enjoy again. :)

Thanks! :)

I'm so glad to see you're having a nice time being off from work, and finding time to relax and enjoy again.

Is there a better way to find some peace than being with these lovely fur kids? :)

Gary, I will keep you all informed on Emma and the way the kitties react to her.

Kirsten you are wonderful with that camera and she truly is a beautiful cat, I can see why you worry about her from time to time. I loved the ones of her amongst the daisies!

What a little supermodel Peggy is turning in to! Such a beautiful girl.

Our girls lose a little weight in the Spring too. It's in preparation for the beach, I think. :D

These are exceptionally beautiful pictures of an extraordinarily beautiful cat. Calicos have a special place in my heart. The last time Beauty went to the vet, she too had a lot to say to me when I came home from work. She is generally talkative, but that evening she was positively voluble, for an extended period. (It was my husband who had taken her to the vet during the day.)

I have another example of an animal talking about an event that must have been very traumatic for her. A friend of mine came to visit from several states away and brought her schnauzer with her. The dog was very timid anyway and extremely attached to my friend. While my friend was with me, she had a horseback riding accident and broke her arm badly. She had to have surgery and was hospitalized for quite a few days. Meanwhile, we took care of the dog. My husband, who isn't even a "dog person" (neither am I) felt so sorry for her that he slept on the floor near her carrier (in which she took shelter for her own comfort and security). After two or three days, my friend's sister came to pick up the dog, and what the dog did was incredible. After all those days of silence, she spoke, with whimpers, soft howls, all kinds of vocalizations (not full barks of any kind) for perhaps as long as five minutes. She had to have been telling about all of her feelings during her time of separation from my friend and her isolation with strangers. It was truly amazing.

Beauty17, that is amazing! That poor dog obviously had a lot to tell after that adventure!

Regarding Peggy: I'm worried about her again, as nobody has seen her since the morning... Hope she only found a cool spot somewhere in the forest where she's sleeping, and forgot to come home.

Update: My mother just called, she's back!!! :)
