Their little tanks are so cute! I just have mine in a bowl and a vase. I have rocks in the bottom, but, that's it for now. I like the names you have picked for yours. I kept trying to think of Chinese names, or names that work in pairs for my two, but, now I think I'm just going to go with boy names I like. :) For now, they are nameless. Shame on me. But, I'm glad you posted these pictures, it's kinda motivating me to find names!

I don't use gravel in mine anymore, I found it a pain in the butt to clean :rolleyes:. Thanks! They're all named after Little Mermaid characters. Hehe, I hope you can think of names, and I'm glad I motivated you!

Thanks! Neptune's coloring is what made me attracted to him, he looked more purple in his cup though. He's the most boring of my bettas, too :rolleyes:, but I still love him.

I believe it's a little bit over a gallon. It was only about $5, and I really needed to rescue Ariel.. The other 2 are also 1 gallon.

Ah.. Yeah, they're actually critter keepers. They make wonderful betta homes :D.

I plan on getting a betta soon.They don't count as "pets" in my apt.
I have a almost one gallon tank with an air pump(are they ok?)

Be prepared to get more than one. ;) They're uber addicting.. I only know like one person with just one, and they WANT another one. I hope I can convince my mom to let me have another one.. I'd like to house Ariel and another betta together, but aren't you supposed to house them in groups of four?

Yeah, I'm not using gravel...I think you can see the rocks that I'm using in the pictures I posted...they're glass. Definitely a lot easier to deal with. I have had fish in the past, and, hated messing with gravel!
