Not totally sure, but, you may want to chat about rabbits in "pet general", you may get more responses in there. :)

Rabbits are actually not rodents. They belong to the Lagomorph family. :)
I have one, a Netherland dwarf Black himalayan senior buck whom I show in ARBA rabbit shows. We've only made it to one He won BOB open, jrs, and fur, for 1 leg towards his Gr. Ch.

heheh suki wingi got to that one first! Rabbits and Hares are lagomorphs, even guinea pigs are more closely related to lagomorphs then they are to rodents :p

I have a 3 your old rescue lop, Kari, her breeder dumped her in a parking lot with about 50 other rabbits, several found there way to the shelter, at least thats the story that it seems to be. its way to much of a coincidance that 52 holland lops and mini rex suddely disapear from the breeder and a few days later I visit the shelter and several holland lops and mini rex show up with the story that they were found in the airport parking lot, which is near said breeder, and the rabbits at the shelter are dead on identical to the ones that vannished from the breeder..sorry but I dont by it. either way when I was going to go to a breeder Kari was the rabbit I had wanted anyhow!
