I wasn't sure whether this would go best in Cat memorial or here, but I figured here would be OK;)

Zsa-Zsa had a brother, named Brando, and he passed away August 25th 2005. I still miss him very much, and Zsa-Zsa still mews for him sometimes. Yesterday, seeing as it was a hot day, I was helping my mum powerwash the patio slabs in the back garden. They get quite mucky during the year and the powerwasher really cleans them up. I was powerwashing one part of the patio, when I saw something in the filler (or whatever sticks the slabs together, lol). It was two paw-prints, two cat paw prints. The slabs were laid down 7 years ago, and I remember Zsa-Zsa was very wary of the slabs and would not go on them for a week. Therefore, those pawprints belonged to Brando. I stood there for ages just looking at them. I tried to take a picture to show you all, but it didn't turn out right. It just reminded me of him, and now I know that in a way, he has been immortalised forever in the garden he loved.

That is wonderful!!!! Sometimes little things like that happen and we remember all the fun and love they had to give and it seems to keep them alive in our memories forever!!!
Go ahead and try that picture one more time, maybe from a different angle. You may be surprized at the outcome and besides, I would love to see it!!!

I tried again, by shining a torch on it to get a shadow that would show the depressions. These are the ones which turned out the best, athough they are just pics of one of the pawprints, the other is not as deep and did not work at all.

Brando looks like a such a sweet cat. I'm glad you found something to help you think of him. Who knows, maybe he was giving you a sign to see his paw prints- 7 years is a long time not to notice something like that, maybe he was telling you that his spirit is still out there somewhere, thinking of you. :)

Aww, what a sad and happy thing to find. Brando was gorgeous, very like Zsa-Zsa. Were they from the same litter?

That is beautiful!! The pictures turned out great, and it's wonderful that you have his paw prints on your patio! That way, a part of him is alway with you. :)
