SELINA!!! My mom and dad brought home this gorgeous girl, and well, I found out about her on Saturday. Here are a couple of pics, anyone have any idea on what kind of bunny she is. She has an ID tattoo (what are they called?) on her ear...

I'm not really an expert on rabbit breeds, but she looks like a Havana to me. She is very cute:D I love her name, and the pic of her with you and Splinter! Congratulations on getting your beautiful girl!

I'm actually baffled as to what she is but I'm pretty sure she isnt a Felmish Giant..she doesnt have big enough feet or ears. I would just say shes a reagular dwarf. I can try and find out for you.

Aww! So cute. :D I'm bad with breeds, mostly stay within dwarfs and stuff but she's adorable whatever she is! The tat is for ID at a rabbit show. I don't think the ARBA has a service like the jockey club where you can retrieve the name and pedigree through the tat because the breeder inks them whatever they want and it's not recorded.

Awww She's adorable!! :D She looks sooo cuddly! (So is Splinter!) I have tried to learn more about rabbit breeds since I got into Netherland Dwarves. I will try and find out what she is. btw Glad to see your back, Steph!

Edit: My best guess would be a Havana or Havana mix!

Thanks for the compliments everyone!:D
Buttercup123 and Dab_20, it would be great of you could try to help me figure out what kind of rabbit she is! I am horrible with rabbit breeds, I "specialize" in dogs, sooo, a little help would be great:)

The neat thing about Selina, is that she actually responds to her name! She will come to you if you call, and I was just delighted when I found that out!

Although, she isn't very fond of Splinter. Splinter walked up to her to meet her, and Selina hopped away uninterested...lol!

Oh, Suki_Wingy, maybe you could find out what Selina is at the jockey club?;):P A rabbit and a horse aren't THAT different:D
Honestly, do you know if ARBA has a website that I could check out?

Thanks again everyone!

I asked and they said Havana
Watch out with putting here near splinter, girl rabbits can be very b*tchy with other animlals I'm sure you dont want to be rushing down to the vet with her having splinters needles all in her.

Hedgehog needles don't come out of them like porkipines (sp?).

Okay, thanks!
I was sitting right there when we introduced them, and I made sure that they weren't too close. Although dab_20 is right. Hedgies quills don't come out like a porcupine, but a lot of people think they do. Still, animals can be poked by them, and that hurts (trust me!).
Don't worry though, I am very careful while introducing pets, and the previous owner of Selina is actually a family friend who wa getting overwhelmed with pets, and had to give a couple to new families. We got Selina because she is surprisingly gentle and kind. I was a little worried when I heard we were getting a female because I have heard that does can be snotty.

Thank you for your concern though buttercup123!

It's true does can get moody, but they make great pets!
