Gary Allan and Rascal Flatts for now, especially Gary Allan. I just saw them both in concert on Sunday - oh it was sooo good!

There are a lot of bands/singers I love - Kenny Chesney, Dierks Bentley, and a lot of others - but I think that Gary Allan is my ultimate favorite. He is amazing in concert, has a unique voice, and is ... just really cool :p

I was actually thinking of making a thread about who everyone's seen in concert. I've seen over 50 people and probably over 100 concerts, so I tend to base who I like the most on the concerts I've seen. If it weren't for the two Gary Allan concerts I've been to I know I would not like him as much. His stage presence is what really gets me. My favorite concerts have come from Gary Allan, Rascal Flatts, Kenny Chesney, Keith Urban, and Tim McGraw - all whom I've seen more than once :D Though I think I enjoyed Tim McGraw's concerts moreso because I love all his old music (and most of his new) and so it was great to see him perform them, but he wasn't extremely entertaining. With Keith Urban, I enjoyed watching him play the guitar and other instruments since he's a genius with practically anything that makes a noise. Kenny Chesney runs around a lot and keeps the crowd going. Rascal Flatts, well, Jay is really funny, Joe Don is a fine piece of ... butt :p, and they just entertain pretty well. Dierks Bentley is probably one of the most humble celebrities and I love his first CD, and I've been to three concerts and loved each one. Met him at the first one, met his (lookalike) brother at the second, chowed down on a bunch of second-hand smoke at the third and almost left, but glad I didn't because Dierks was great. Gary Allan, well, he just rocks. haha. His music is sort of country-rockish, he has a unique voice, and he has this really great attitude when on stage. I really enjoyed it on Sunday when he sang "Best I Ever Had" and introduced it talking about how he's been through a rough year (wife commiting suicide) and that this song was about how he was pissed off and sad at the same time. Really cool.

I could seriously go on forever, someone please shut me up :p

I guess I can't really decide on my favorite band. There is no band that I am totally loyal to. I enjoy Rascall Flatt's songs, alot. I love Garth Brooks and Cat Stevens too. I also like Our Lady Peace, The get up kids...and many others. I'm all over the place when it comes to music.

Let's see...Guster is definitely my all time favorite. I've seen them six or seven times in concert, and, three of those times were back to back, three nights in a row. It was awesome. And, they are just very nice people, very good to their fans, and, completely approachable. Usually. ;) everyone has bad nights!

As for everything else, as Cagney Dog said, I'm all over the place! But, here are a few as they come to mind. No particular order at all, as there really isn't any! Check out my myspace account if you really wanna know my funky taste in music. And, even that list isn't complete!

Johnny Cash
Willie Nelson
Frank Sinatra
Dean Martin
Dolly Parton
Mindy Smith
Enya
Jewel
Etta James
The Rolling Stones
The Beatles
The Doors
Prince
Madonna

Morcheeba
The Go! Team
classical (like Mozart, Bach, etc...I could listen to that all day!)

All-time favorite band is BareNaked Ladies! They are so fun in concert! I last saw them New Year's Eve 2004 in Tampa, FL!

I also enjoy most of the 80's type bands.

Favorite singer would be John Mellencamp, an Indiana boy! I have seen him in concert more times than I can remember! Was something of a "groupie" when I was in college!

I have to tell you, that one of my "claims to fame" is that I went to high school with Axl Rose from Guns N Roses! He was then Bill Bailey! He didn't graduate, but he probably makes more money than any of the over 500 in the graduation class! Haven't seen him since I spotted him at an event in Lafayette (IN) many years ago... he had come back for a visit, I guess!

Also, a friend of mine is a drummer, and has played with John Mellencamp and Bob and Tom. He has partied at John's house in Seymour, IN! (Before we knew one another or you can bet I would have been there also!) My friend's dad was the bass player for Chubby Checker, so he comes by his drumming talents very naturally! I envy his talents as a musician. He is very good, and made a living at it (raising a family) for many years!

I personnally find green day very offensive. I do not like enjoying a song and then someone comes and interrupts it with a bunch of cursing. I do not like listening to music that talks about gross bad stuff. Or getting my ears blown out by that crazy mix up of stuff. Why can you not create music with out all the cursing the badness? What is so great about hearing all that???? Rap is the same. Music is a gift that only the people who use it wisely should have not the people who destroy the sanctity of it (i don't know if sanctity is the word but something like that). Music is a gift a privilege. Something that should not be abused.

You must have only heard the bad songs that Green Day has. They have alot of songs with no swear words and gross things in it. I personally don't like to listen to a bunch of swear words either.
