My Aunt Renee's elderly mom has a huge heart and will just about take any stray that comes around.. These puppies mom showed up at the old house she was living in before she moved and they thought she had already been spayed because she was there for almost a year, and never got pregnant, even with all the other stray males that were around her house. But, when she moved to her new house, she was around their male dachshund mix, and a fullblooded male min pin, and she started getting really fat, and they realized that she was indeed pregnant when she had 10 puppies on May 3rd. However, 2 of the females died 2 days after they were born. So, now there is 8 of them. The mom is a rat terrier.

Yes I know that she shouldn't take in the strays and keep them if they aren't going to be fixed, yes I know that the puppies nails are too long, and everything else someone might find to complain about, but I have no control over these dogs, as they do not belong to me in any way, shape or form. So, please just enjoy the pictures of these babies!!

This is the group shot.
2 of the blk/tan ones are boys,
1 blk/tan is a girl,
solid brown one that you can't really see is a boy,
solid white one with the brown around its eye is a boy,
white one with the blk/tan on its head is a boy (he's the runt),
2 white ones with brown on their heads and spotty backs are girls.

And, this is the little white male. He's the biggest pup in the litter.

I got individual pictures of the other males, but my mom wouldn't let me get too many printed off the machine at wal-mart, and these were the clearest pictures, so these are the ones I got.

No, that's not us getting any pups.. I wish though. I would take the white boy, or the girl with the most spots on her back in a heart beat.

My aunt isn't the one that takes in the strays, its her mom. She is elderly. I believe my mom said she was 82. She's on oxygen but she gets around pretty well except for not being able to drive... She used to have a lot more dogs when she lived in her old house, but now she just has the 3 adult dogs, plus the 8 pups. I'm going to contact one of the low cost spay/neuter clinics and see if they can some how get assistance on getting them fixed so there isn't anymore puppies.

I'm going to give the puppies their first shot, and worm them and then try to find good homes for them.

Thanks everyone for the comments.

He was a doxie mix, but he is a red color and has a little bit of black on his back.

They are a adorable :) Even if their nails are long and they're not fixed I'm sure it's a lot better than them having to fend for themselves as strays...so they're probably better off anyway. That's really nice of your aunt's mother to do that.
