PT Cats Calendar 2007 ~ Get your photo in!

Hey all.. It's that time again!

I figured I'd start accepting entries for the calendar. Can we set a few rules though?

Photo MUST be clear.
Please just original photos. No photoshops - however, brightening/darkening, red eye changes, etc. are fine.
Photo MUST be 1600 x 1200 pixels minimum. I don't want to use anything smaller because it won't print out right.
Photo can be of multiple cats, as long as it's just cats.
ONE entry per PT Member, lets give everyone a chance to be in the calendar.
Once you send your photo to me, you're claiming it's ownership as well as giving me the permission to use it.

Lets make the deadline for sending in photos September 1st.

Send all entrys to [email protected] - WAIT! Keep reading before you send..

PLEASE include the following in your subject line:
"CAT Calendar - <MONTH YOU WANT TO BE FEATURED>"

In the body of the e-mail include the following:
Owner's First Name:
PT Member Name:
Cat Name(s):

A few photo tips:

-Natural lighting usually makes for the best picture.
-Headshots will make your cat more prominent in the calendar.
-The less background clutter, the better the shot. Flowers, scenery, etc are a nice touch.
-If you have more than one cat, try getting them in one photo so no one is left out.

As those Dear Cats are 16, and I would like to see them honored.
They arent exactly chummy so that may not be easy.

What a wonderful idea! I buy a charity calender every year, last year bought a bunch of stuff like calender, wrapping paper, tags, advent calender for Jack & Sunny etc at Christmas from Cat's Protection (great way of raising funds for your favourite charity people, in case you don't already do this!) but I would consider buying this, does any of the money raised go to a charity? (doesn't matter if it doesn't)
I think i spotted scrappy two on the last one?!
Joseph has to be on this years calender! :D

I've got some pictures that I think are pretty good of my two cats, but I don't have any of those shots where they are together. I've got to find shots that are higher resolution. I take them in like 2200 by something, but I resize them for people's browsers, and now I cannot find the larger ones.

Boi Brown would love to be on a calender :P Tangerine would too, but I think I'd submit boi, because of his recent fighting for his life.

Yep, the amount of money that actual falls into my name (around $5 per calendar, I believe) goes to my local Humane Society. I believe last year's donation was around $250 something - between the PT Dog and PT Cat calendars. :) This year I may buy an extra calendar to send along with the donation.

Well thank you & I cant wait to see her & even though I see her everyday.. This picture was a good one.. When she was a baby I named her Half Pint due too she was so much smaller than my Calitt.. Now she is just as big.. Also I used to watch Little House On The Prairie & Laura Ingles nickname was Half Pint & just loved it.. I saw Lut's baby & Brody's Mum baby on the list..

:) No that is still the 2006 issue.. I checked & there my Calitt is in Nov. && for 2007 I entered Half Pint for July.. We have not heard from Kay about the 2007 Calendar yet.. So dont know when it will be ready..

OK, I have a dumb question and please don't roll your eyes :rolleyes: and thell me that I should know. Pet Talk is too large for me to keep up with everyone and their cats.

I have my 2007 PT Calendar proudly displayed on my wall at work, but aside from Rascal in July, I don't know who the other kitties are or who they belong to.

Is there a list somewhere? :confused:
