i'm a country and rock girl. favorite bands being Big&Rich, Buckcherry, Miranda Lambert, Charlie Daneils(he's my man!), Willy Nelson, Merle Haggard, and Gretchin Wilson.

I pretty much listen to all music, but classical does tend to bore me and I absolutely hate rap and heavy metal type stuff but other than that, I listen to pretty much everything else.

Its hard categorizing my music. Rock to me could be something completely different to someone else. One might consider bands such as Green Day or MCR to be "emo" or "punk" bands (but they're really not) but they are ALL categorized under "rock", and I listen to none of those bands. But... ah. Its hard. I don't categorize my music.

I like specific bands and artists, not a genre as a whole.

Country and oldies (from the 40s-70s) are my favorite. I also love jazz and swing music, and like some rock and pop.

You'll hear more banjos and violins and accents on the country stations now than you did in the last few years. I like both country and "country-pop", but country is my favorite of the two.

Classic Rock is pretty much all I listen to (The Beatles, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Neil Young, Rush...), but I like some metal, too , such as Metallica, Pantera, and Megadeth :)

Country all the way! I just love Alan Jackson, Brad Paisley, Brooks & Dunn, Sugarland and many more! I got to see Alan Jackson in concert twice last year and now I can die a happy woman. :D :D

The oldies, cc, and classical. I think there are a lot of really lame country songs (no offense to country lovers). They talk about some crazy stuff. :rolleyes: I think Carrie Underwood is good though. Certain songs are anyway. :)

Classic rock, some metal, punk, 1920's jive. I listen to pretty much everything but I absolutely HATE modern country and hardcore rap. You pretty much have to know a little of every kind of music to sit around the lakeland college pub and carry on a conversation. One day we were listening to jazz, Pompton's turnpike- my favorite and about the only jazz I know, and we actually had a conversation about the artists. I learned quite a bit.

Eric is a HUGE music fan so I end of listening to almost everything, as when he's home there's usually something playing. I really like oldies, and classical (Debussy and Rachmaninoff are some of my favs, of course since I play piano!) I really like newer bands too like the Flaming Lips, the White Stripes, and the Shins!

I listen to all kinds of music. I go through periods where I'm in the mood for certain genres. I was heavily into Country, but over the last few years it's really deteriorated. I'll only listen to the Country Legends station on the radio and then keep an eye out on the internet for quality Country CDs that they won't play on the radio.

Right now I'm on a heavy metal kick, but I did just buy the Dixie Chicks' latest CD, that I'm really loving. Glad to see that with the wonders of the internet, that the few no longer have enough power to silence a great band from getting their music out to the masses, by banning them from radio.

I guess it would be called pop. I listen to Ne-yo, black eyed peas, green day, all american rejects, etc. More pop then anything else.
