For all you Firefox users, what are some of your favorite browser extensions?

Here are mine:

Linky: Lets you open selected or all links in new tabs with a single click

Tiny-URL Creator: Lets you turn a long link into a short one for posting purposes with a single right-click

Undo Close Tab: Lets you un-close the tab you just accidentally closed

Dictionary Search: Lets you highlight a word and open a dictionary definition for it in a separate tab

IEView: Let's you open a tab in Explorer or assign a site to open in Explorer. I use this for shutterfly.com and other sites that aren't Firefox friendly.

StumbleUpon: This is a great site for wasting time. You can put in your hobbies/interests and it will recommend sites for you. Way cool.

Bumble Search: Greatly enhances web searching in many ways.

Forecastfox: Tells me the weather on the tool bar.

Colorful tabs: Just makes my tabs look pretty.

Cardgames: A bunch of solitare card games.

Soooo share some of yours :)

FireFox is another browser alternative. I love it SO much better than internet explorer.. much more secure, updated CONSTANTLY... no popup ads... less spyware... I love it!!

Its also "bad" to have lots of extensions because it can use a lot of CPU and slow your computer and/or firefox down. It can also cause problems if more than one extension has conflicts with another.

My list:

BBCodeXtra *
WebmailCompose
CuteMenus - Crystal
Disable Targets For Downloads
Forecastfox
Adblock *
IE View *
Linkification *
ViewSourceWith
Gmail Manager

* denotes CAN NOT LIVE WITHOUT and are MUST HAVE extensions for every firefox user!!

Do you have to pay for it? Is it really confusing to figure out? haha

It's free. I find it pretty simple, and SO much better than IE. I had to download it on my loaner computer, because IE annoyed the heck out of me. :o

It might be a LITTLE confusing at first if you have never used anything other than Internet Explorer before, but they have a conversion thingy that helps you out and FF will import all your favorites from IE so you won't loose your bookmarks. Once you download it go under the "help" menu and read "for internet exporer users".

I love Firefox! I don't know about a favourite extension but I think the most useful is NoScript, it offers extra protection and it is hardly any hassle to use the allow/disallow. FasterFirefox is excellent too.

Ahha a new one I recently discovered! It's called gSpace and it basically allows you to FTP to your GMail account from your browser window and click and drag files so you can make use of your 2+GB of space! :)

I found a good one today, Cooliris previews. It is great for previewing links, especially when using Google and the like. I love it!

Another plus with the Cooliris extension is that you can view attachments without clicking on them .. a extra big plus for me because when going back I always seem to close my browser instead. :)
