Have you ever done anything without thinking about it and a few seconds later you look back at it and are amazed/surprised/weirded out (or any other emotion) at how it happened? Example:
One time when Soni was a very tiny kitten, my husband was walking out of our apartment door for some reason or other. Soni was walking towards him, as Troy was standing there and saying something to me, and as he turned to leave the timing happened just so that he would shut the door on Sonis middle area/stomach (he didn't even see him). I was sitting on the floor by our fish tank and happened to see it. I screamed, "SONI! NO!" and BOLTED towards the door and grabbed Soni up before either of them ever knew what happened. I wasn't even *thinking*, I just did it.
