I mean it's like..
A bag similar to a Coach bag.. no wait it's Chanel imitation. Not a fake Chanel or a real one. A bag made by a different company made to look a bit like a real one, but totally off.

Looks like an imitation of something - sort of Chanel, sort of Coach but not a true designer logo. If it really were a designer bag, it WOULD have a label on the inside with the designer's name. They all do. I have Coach bags and have had Louis Vuitton's too.

Wouldn't the $3.00 price tag have told you it was a knock-off? LOL.

I buy 'em cheap, use 'em for years, then discard. It is just a bag for my 'junk'. :p

That and the fact that it was at Payless Shoes..although it is an authentic purse! and it's cute so no reason to care. And yes, knockoffs try to look authentic so they DO put the logos all over things, if that's how the orignial is made.

I'm not a handbag person. I just buy a cheap one. I think if you buy one of those expensive ones, you won't have any money left to put in it!

I love purses but I never pay that much for one.I bought a purse not long ago at a second hand store and I was wondering if it was something special. It has a stamped number on the outside bottom corner and inside is has the same number engraved in cloth.I tried looking it up on the internet but had no such luck, maybe someone here would beable to tell me more?It is stamped KS18 version originale than under that in a white tag it says Veneto, made in china. Its got to mean something im sure

I have about 40, all hanging in my hallway as decoration. About 8 are Coach, some are vintage, a few Ken Cole, a few from Paris boutiques, all very pricey. And I got them all for less than $40! :D

I used to volunteer at a really good thrift store (now gone), which priced everything at about 10% of what you would pay at Value Village. The owner had excellent contacts and during the few years I worked there, I collected enough very high-quality clothes to last me at least a decade. As a volunteer, I got 50% off and then, because I put in many, many hours after work, the owner would simply give me things. So I got Coach bags, no stains, just slightly worn leather, for $2 each, and other great deals. The only time I examined a Coach bag at Value Village, it was stained outside and in, very worn, and had a $50 price tag.

I didn't think of Coco Chanel for the bag that is the subject of this thread, because I didn't think it looked like her C. I was thinking of Cardin, though of course with that designer you don't get the double C. It looks like a good buy for $3.

I have never regretted investing in my Coach bags. I have two and they both cost $200-$300 (I forget, it was a LONG time ago). They are guarantied for life. If anything happens, broken strap, broken zipper, torn seam, scratches on the leather, whatever, you just send it back to Coach through their stores and they fix it and send it back for the cost of the shipping. Both of mine have had their zippers and straps replaced once or twice and they still look good and will last me another many years. They are classics that never go out of style IMHO.
