i had mentioned last week that my cousin was bringing her cat over for me to look at and see if i could help get the matts out of his coat.
she brought him over on sunday. when he hopped out of his crate i was shocked at how beautiful he was. he's a 10month old neutered orange persain. my cousin had gotten all the mats out of his head, neck, back area, but he wouldn't let her touch his belly. we got him to lay on his back and saw why he didn't want her to touch him. his front legs were STUCK TOGETHER at the elbows because of the mats! :(
i only had to shave his belly, but it took 4 hours of nonstop shaving to get all the mats out. my cousin was so happy to see him walking like a real cat she almost dried. she kept telling him that this would never happen to him again.
