What's your favorite mythical/fairy tale creature?

Mine would have to be unicorns! Although I love dragons as well :)

I love unicorns too but must admit a soft spot for 'Nessie' the Loch Ness monster. That may not qualify though since I think she is real, just smart enough not to be caught yet.:D

I'm crazy about the Dragons of Pern series and Firelizards, their little cousins.

In more classical mythology/fairy tales, mermaids are a favorite.

Yes both unicorns abd dragons are great, to be honest I can't really think of many more. When I was young i thought unicorns really did excist.

The Pegasus was always my favorite. I love horses and what a thrill it would be to have a horse that could fly. When I read the Dragon Lance series, dragons became a favorite.
