Is there anyway to get back pictures you deleted??

Ugg... Me and a bunch of friends took a trip to Canada last week, and I think all of my pictures got deleted. Not from my camera, but from my computer. I empty the recycle bin on my computer often, and they may have been "recycled" is there any way to get them back?!?!??!?! :(

XP has a feature "system restore" where you can pick a date and restore as of that date. Maybe that would work.

It depends on whether you have really deleted them, and if you did, anything that got added to your hard drive probably wrote over them, so they'll be unrecoverable. If you used specific software to try tpo restore them, there's a little hope, but not much, as one pixel missing can cause a file to be corrupted and unopenable.
